The Ice Cream Man project (update 29/10/2015)

Let's get to the back side now! First step: redraw over the lines with black paint, to mitigate the risk of losing details when applying the base layers. This represents a bit more than 2 hours of work for this already quite complex piece of work (the back side is approximately 8x8cm). You can easily guess what elements I've started with, because the lines are wider and rougher.

Now I have to figure out the color scheme, and pray for my mojo to be with me next weekend!

Slow but determined, mofo!

Sometimes, business trips abroad also have good sides. Now it's time to go back to the brush.

Back to slowness!

How long does it take to lay a basecoat with 2 obvious colors? Thanks to a low mojo and several trial and error, and error, and error, ... 2 weeks pass and the outcome is still poor at best. So screw it, I went back to the most obvious color scheme for the front logo, vanilla and chocolate, without any special effect. How long to make the contrast on the base layer, now? History will tell us!

So screw the color scheme, screw subtlety and bury your fuckin' dead!

And instead of wating time here, go check the really nice stuff on Thantor's and on Akewea's pages.
